“I’ve sailed a Colgate 26 for 7 seasons – largely self-taught with some bad habits. Had tied a bowline wrong since Cub Scots. First experience on a big boat. Prefer the Colgate for fun on the Hudson, but the learning experience was great, and I definitely want to try a charter with the right group on bigger water. Class size was optimal, as was the balance between course and free time. Beite could teach my cat to sail. My wife (in Learn to Sail) and I really enjoyed a vacation with purpose.”
