PERFORMANCE RACE WEEK IN PARADISE
Join our select team of expert performance race instructors in this round the islands week of exciting big-boat race-training.
Bring your own crew (maximum six), or join other singles and couples aboard one of our five Moorings 50.5 yachts for a great week of camaraderie, racing and good fun. Each boat will be assigned a minimum of four, maximum six participants with your race instructor/coach aboard throughout the week. Each boat has four private cabins, each with its own head (bathroom), and a separate fifth cabin - privately accessed - for your instructor.
A fun, informative week of memorable race training
Plan to arrive Saturday, November 3. Your boat will be available for boarding at 1800 hrs. Then join the Caribbean Sail-Race coaches and racers for happy hour and dinner ashore. The next morning you’ll leave The Moorings docks and practice race procedures with a rendezvous off Cooper Island for the start of your first race the next day.
Learn and r
ace every day
Each day the fleet will start racing by 9 a.m. with round the buoy and round the island courses. Each evening you’ll anchor, moor or dock in a different harbor and enjoy happy hour under the stars and dinner ashore or aboard as your crew desires. Your evening stops include Norman Island, Jost Van Dyke, Marina Key and Peter Island.
Take a trophy home!
Saturday is Regatta Day in North Sound with trophies and prizes awarded at a fun dinner ashore that evening.
