Get ready for sailboat cruising in one week

The first two days of this sailboat cruising course you Learn to Sail aboard an award-winning Colgate 26 sailboat (shown at left during a course in the British Virgin Islands) while staying ashore at a fine resort.

The next five days you learn on a spacious 43' to 50' sailboat, a cruising monohull or catamaran yacht. During this learning time, you may continue to stay at the resort or sail away and learn while living aboard and cruising from port to port, island to island.

On your last day you'll set out on the most gratifying part of the course — a 24-hour test cruise on that same big yacht without the instructor aboard.

Throughout the week, you practice the dynamic responsibilities of a skipper and the rewards of being a knowledgeable crew member.

No sailing or cruising experience required!

There are no pre-requisites for this sailing and cruising course. You earn Colgate Day Sailing, Coas Sailboat Cruising – Fast Track to Cruising tal Cruising and Bareboat Cruising Certification all in one week, with tests at all three levels administered as you go. At the end of the course you’ll be amazed by the skills and knowledge you have gained; and the incredible confidence you feel when the instructor leaves you on your last day to go off on your own mini-cruise.
