Fort Myers, Florida - (September 19, 2011) - Kevin Wensley, a long time employee of Offshore Sailing School, received honorable mention in the 2011 E-Awards "attractions" division from the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. Awarded at a packed breakfast celebration at the Harborside Events Center in downtown Fort Myers, Florida on September 14 - this annaul award presentation honors employees in Lee County for exceptional customer service.
Kevin Wensley is Southern Regional Manager for Offshore Sailing School, overseeing a staff of instructors at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa on Fort Myers Beach, and two other locations in St. Petersburg, Florida and the British Virgin Islands.
In addition to his management duties, Kevin takes time to meet students and often teaches courses ranging from Learn to Sail to Ocean Passage Making. "Kevin's outstanding attention to our client's needs and goals result in highly satisfied sailors who are trying sailing for the first time, or pursuing lifelong goals," says Doris Colgate, CEO and President of Offshore Sailing School. E-Awards categories include accommodations, attractions, good samaritan, restaurants, transportation, and other services and businesses. Hundreds of nominations were received for this year's event. They came from customers, co-workers and management. Three honorable mentions and an overall winner were chosen for each category.
